Gestalt Therapy

Journeys of Self discovery and development

Online and in Edinburgh

Gestalt therapy offers a relational, compassionate, creative, explorative, holistic, embodied way for self-exploration and development.

In my Gestalt Therapy practice I’d like to support people’s potential for growth and development.

Sometimes we feel stuck in old patterns of behaviour that developed for good reasons but now they don’t serve us any more. In therapy sessions we develop and deepen our awareness with compassion and gentle curiosity to bring forth clarity to our feelings, processes and choices. Though this can be challenging, it also allows us to open doors to new possibilities and choices. It may bring more clarity, and a sense of participating more fully in our lives.

The therapeutic relationship allows a safe and confidential space for exploration around the whole of ourselves. Though being heard and taken seriously is important, the therapeutic relationship offers more than that. This is a meeting that allows you to safely and confidentially explore the whole of yourself, in a held and compassionate relationship. This relational environment allows you to find new perspectives, renewal and growth.

I am fully insured and in regular supervision. I continually develop myself through reading and ongoing training. I am sensitive to diversity issues and I respect differences.

I offer an initial meeting for £35 where we will explore your reasons for seeking therapy, whether we contract for short- or long-term therapy and whether I am the right therapist for you.

If we decide to work together, my fee is £70-65 for a 50 minute session.

Embodied Therapy

Alongside my Gestalt Psychotherapeutic Counselling practice, I offer Embodied Therapy—an integrative approach that combines Gestalt psychotherapy with my extensive background in dance, somatic movement practices, and the Feldenkrais Method®.

Embodied Therapy invites awareness of both body and mind, recognising that our physical sensations, movement, emotions, and patterns of relating are deeply interconnected. Sessions may include dialogue, mindful attention to bodily experience, gentle movement, and awareness-based exploration, according to your needs and preferences.

These 80-minute sessions provide the additional time needed to integrate verbal reflection with embodied exploration. They are suitable as part of an ongoing therapeutic relationship or as a focused short-term series of sessions.

Session length: 80 minutes
Fee: £85 per session

If you would like to explore whether Embodied Therapy is right for you, please get in touch by email to discuss your needs or to arrange an appointment.

Contact me for any further information, questions you might have, or to book an initial meeting.

I offer therapy in English as well as Hebrew.
